Our creations are crocheted with care, giving new life into discarded fabric remnants, making it a unique piece. Slight variations among pieces echoes the uniqueness and diversity of our artisans. Kendaka's full moon bag was created when we received a good amount of textile waste from an Egyptian fashion brand. That brand used a lot of saris and colourful textiles to make their sherwals pants and other pieces. With the commitment of upcycling, wanting to upcycled textile differently and with the skills of the women in Badr City with crochet, we started prototyping to shape textile with crochet into this bag.
